Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor shall provide the following: 1. Litter removal service on northbound highway 880 from post mile marker 20.3 to post mile marker 24.1 (cross streets Davis St. off ramp to the Floresta overcrossing) and on southbound highway 880 from post mile marker 21.50 to post mile marker 24.17 (cross streets: JCT 238 to mile north of Davis Street) including the Davis Street and Marina Blvd northbound and southbound on/off ramps. This service will be performed four times a month. 2. Litter removal services for the Adopters section(s) of adopted highway according to the guidelines established by Caltrans. 3. Administrative services required by Caltrans, including but not limited to processing the Adopt-A-Highway permit applications. 4. Deliver all collected litter to Alameda County Industries (ACI) in San Leandro for recyclable sorting. (Please note - there are no fees to be paid by contractor for disposing at Alameda County Industries. 5. By the fifth of each month, a report of the amount (e.g. number of bags or tons) of materials collected, in addition to a schedule of planned litter removal activities for the upcoming month.
