Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Scope of Work and Other Requirements are fully contained in thecontents of the Project Manual along with the Project Drawings. Overview of POD temporary shoring and gunite repair phasing:Long-term temporary shoring has been installed. All American Scaffold LLC(AASL) has performed monthly inspections and adjustments. On or around May 15,2016, AASL in coordination with the selected restoration contractor will add workplatforms to the in-place shoring. The restoration contractor will then perform all ofthe chipping with the exception of those areas which cannot be accessed due to theshoring. Once the chipping, sandblasting, coating of reinforcing with zinc richprimer, and other preparation are complete, the shoring contractor shall come back tothe site to relocate the work platforms, relocate the shoring to obtain access to theunchipped areas, and re-support the full load of the beams. Those shores will berelocated to those areas which have already been chipped and prepared for gunite.The restoration contractor will then install temporary, quickset, 5000 psi minimumgrout between the top flange of the shoring beams and the bottom of the sound,chipped beam surface. As necessary, the grout shall be installed around the existingbeam reinforcing. Once the grout has cured, the restoration contractor could thenchip out the remaining deterioration, prepare all of the existing cavities, and gunite(pressure applied concrete) all of the areas not interfered with by the grout and inplaceshoring. Once that gunite has cured to 80% design strength, the grout andshores will be removed sequentially as directed by the engineer with gunite beinginstalled as those shores are removed.
