Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Agency Document Management System (ADMS) currently utilizes the Laserfiche Records Management Edition (RME) Server MS SQL and runs Laserfiche Version 8.3.2 with MS SQL Server with plans upgrade to Laserfiche Version 9 RIO. The purpose of this single source purchase is to procure the Software Licenses and Support for upgrading to Laserfiche Version 9 RIO for the Agency Document Management System (ADMS). The Agency currently uses Laserfiche for its Document Management System to manage and store electronic data. In addition, the Agency is developing a process for automated redaction of documents available to the public on the Agencys website. The public availability of these records through transparence must be balanced with efficiently redacting information that must be protected under Federal HIPAA and HITECH laws. The penalties for breach of these Federal privacy laws are substantial so the Agency must make a good faith effort to consistently redact confidential information. Therefore, the complexity and volume of the data being managed in the Document Management System necessitates that we upgrade to the RIO version of this software with commensurate technical support
