Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract with a qualified Vendor for the purchase andinstallation of equipment needed for the upgrade of Audio, Lighting, and Rigging equipment for the Kirk Memorial Auditorium at theFlorida School for the Deaf and the Blind. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment (installed), and resources asmay be required to complete this project in accordance with the specifications, scope of work, and terms and conditions as stated inthis RFP. The Contractor is responsible for examining the requirements including any measurements needed to complete this project.Contractors must satisfy themselves as to the exact nature and existing conditions of work areas and requirements of specifications forextent and quality of work to be performed. Failure to do so will not relieve the successful Contractor of their obligation to carry out theprovisions of the contract. Cleanup of work area shall be conducted by the Contractor. Where not more specifically described in any ofthe various sections of these specifications, workmanship shall conform to all of the methods and operations of best standards andaccepted practices of the trade or trades involved, and shall include all items regularly furnished or required for completion of services.Personnel skilled in their respective trade shall execute all work. Contractor shall also provide training of operation, equipment testing,and warranty support for the installed components in accordance with the specifications stated herein. Contractor shall remove theexisting defected equipment in the auditorium and turn the equipment in to the FSDB Project Manager or designee. Contractor shalldeliver and install equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
