Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Department is seeking applicants to provide temporary residential services available forimmediate use for juveniles for a minimum of one (1) day to a maximum of five (5) days,including weekends and holidays.All juveniles authorized to receive JDAI Services must be accompanied by a copy of the JDAIRisk Assessment Screening Tool, a medical authorization signed by the Juvenilesparent/guardian and a written or verbal order from the court (juveniles with dual or deferredorders may not be accepted) upon admission into the program.Accountabilities:The applicant shall be responsible for the following items/services/functions:1. Supervision of the juvenile.2. Nutritional needs of the juvenile.3. Accommodations for the juvenile to address their personal hygiene.4. Toiletries for the juvenile (such as toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, feminine requirements etc.).5. Proper sleeping and privacy accommodations for the juvenile in accordance with He-4001.6. Transportation for the juvenile only when related to emergency or urgent medical needs.7. Engagement with the assigned Juvenile Probation and Parole Officer (JPPO) to plan for thejuveniles discharge and/or further placement needs.8. Ensure proper documentation upon acceptance of juvenile.9. Submission of billing/invoices and other required documents for reimbursement to the JDAICoordinator.10. May deny the juvenile or contact referring agency for removal of the juvenile if the juvenile isexhibiting any of the following behaviors:10.1. suicidal ideation,10.2. presently under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, or10.3. significant aggressive and/or violent behavior
