Specifications include, but are not limited to:sCOPE OF WORK Wor-Wic Community College (the College) is seeking consulting services to conduct a comprehensive compensation and classification study that includes (a) an external salary survey for faculty, administrative and support staff positions using multiple competitive markets, (b) analysis of the existing job classification systems, (c) evaluation and classification of all administrative and support staff positions, (d) a system for conducting future job analyses in-house, (e) a parity analysis to ensure internal equity, and (f) a detailed report with recommendations for implementation and maintenance of proposed changes, including the cost of implementing each recommendation. The purpose of the study is to review the competitiveness of the Colleges compensation and classification systems and make changes to ensure internal equity and improve our competitiveness in the local labor market. The current make-up of positions includes approximately 75 full-time faculty positions, 75 full-time administrative positions, two part-time administrative positions, 90 full-time support staff positions and 25 part-time support staff positions. Part-time faculty are not included in this study. External Salary Survey Consulting services will include an external salary survey for faculty, administrative and support staff positions using multiple market points, including the local labor market (employers in Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties, including local government and boards of education), regional labor market (Delmarva Peninsula), and relevant higher education institutions, including Delaware Technical Community College, Salisbury University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore and the 15 other Maryland community colleges. External salary data will include shift differential pay for overnight shifts.
