Specifications include, but are not limited to:The internet connection must encompass all forms of Internet traffic, including but notlimited to World Wide Web access, VPN connections, streaming video, e-mail traffic inat least (IMAP, POP3, and SMTP) format.Our requirements for Internet service are as follows:Vendor supplied and managed router(s), and all necessary equipment required toprovide service up to the network backbone 24x7 real-time monitoring Monthly reporting on usage and performance Designated account representativeFail over Internet connections to ensure High Internet availability Support Four hour equipment replacement guarantee from problem detection Describe your proactive monitoring system Any and all Service Level Agreements (SLA) related to installation, service, changeorders 24x7 staffed Network Operations Center Process for submitting requests for problem reporting and service changes Problem and request process Toll free trouble line Minimum and average help desk/repair staffing levels. If levels differ by time of dayor day of week, please explain. Describe the help desk/repair process including levels of escalation and responsetime 1 hour turnaround time for emergency changesAt least 50 Mbps (Million Bits per second) of bandwidth shall be provided to the City ofFarmington.The option to purchase additional bandwidth should also be included in the RFP andsubsequent agreement. This option could be exercised any time during theAgreement period with a thirty day written notification to the service provider of theneed for additional bandwidth. The pricing should be provided in increments of 50Mbps up to a maximum of 1 Gbps.Provide external DNS (Domain Name System) services.Provide external MX (Mail Exchange) record services.Provide a full Class C Public IP address block (256 addresses) registered to the Cityof Farmington, to be used by City web servers and services. Provide a writtenaddress migration plan for all currently used public IP addresses to the vendor's newClass C Public IP address block.
