Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Authority seeks a firm or individual to manage the Solid Waste Management Authority on an interim basis, review operations and suggest changes to senior Authority leadership to promote efficiency and provide general operational support for the Authority. The selected vendor will report to senior Authority staff and the Authority Chairperson. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Direct and Manage the Solid Waste Management Authoritys day to day operations, contractors and personnel. 2. Monitor and report on Authoritys budgets and revenues.3.Provide Authority recommendations for changes to the Authoritys senior staff. 4. Attend and participate at the Authority Board meetings. Meetings are typically twice a month and start at 7:30 pm. 5. Administration and oversight of all Authoritys permits and environmental obligations including but not limited to renewals, reporting and general regulatory compliance. 6. Administration and oversight of all Authoritys contracts.
