Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Executive Director / Administrator shall be a licensed New Jersey insuranceproducer, experienced in risk management matters and self-funded entities.The Executive Director I Administrator shall have the following duties andresponsibilities:a) Carry out the policies established by the Commissioners and otherwisesupervise the management of the Insurance Commission.b) Advise the Commissioners on risk management matters, prepare a draftrisk management plan and otherwise perform the functions of riskmanager for the Commission.c) Annually prepare the budget, compile and bill assessments incooperation with the Commission Treasurer.d) Maintain the underwriting files, secure insurance and excess insurance asauthorized by the Commission; prepare new member submissions forreview by the Commissioners.e) Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivablerecords.
