Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California Department of Food and Agricultures (CDFA) Exterior Pest Exclusion oversees border station inspections of all commercial and private vehicles entering the state in order to prevent entry of, orlimit the spread of, newly discovered pests within the state. The Pest Exclusion Branch is need of a Contractor to install electronic directional signs (previously purchased and on location site) at 9 border protection stations throughout Northern California. Installation must begin prior to June 30, 2016. General Provisions: Contractor shall obtain all permits and/or licenses necessary to comply with all State, County, and Federal laws, codes, and regulations applicable to performing the tasks in this scope of work. Contractor shall obtain approval from the Station Manager before beginning work. Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools, parts, equipment and labor necessary to complete the tasks in this scope of work. All work shall be performed under favorable weather and temperature conditions as per material label instructions. Contractor shall read and comply with Cal OSHA and the CDFA Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and follow any additional safety instructions provided by the Border Protection Manager, or his designee. Contractor shall take all reasonable measures to protect State and/or private properties from damage. Contractor shall clean up, haul away, and dispose of all debris and trash resulting from work covered under this contract. Contractor shall cooperate with the Border Station Manager, or his designee, to ensure operations of the facility during the term of the contract. Contractor shall provide a guarantee of work from the date of completion and for all work done. All work shall be performed to code and/or industry standards. All work shall be subject to approval by the Station Manager. Contractor shall repair or replace anything that is determined to be unsatisfactory work relating to this contract by the Station Manager at no additional cost to the State. Contractor shall provide a minimum of one (1) year manufacturer warranty of all defects on materials, and a 90 day warranty on any services that is not related to defective parts.
