Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFP is being issued on behalf of the Oklahoma State Department of Education for consultants to support the Mathematics and Science Partnership (MSP) statewide grantees for the funding year beginning February 1, 2016 and ending January 31, 2017. The purpose of MSP is to improve the content knowledge and instructional practices of mathematics and science teachers in Oklahoma to increase student achievement. MSP grants that were awarded had to include at minimum an Institution of Higher Education (IHE) and a high-needs Lead Education Agency (LEA). In Oklahoma, three focal areas were defined and awarded on January 28, 2016 by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. One consultant will be contracted with to support each of the MSP Focal Areas that were awarded in January 2016. A list of the focal areas can be found below. Bidders can submit a proposal for one focal area, two focal areas or all three focal areas listed below.
