Specifications include, but are not limited to:Firm Bid: Prices and any other entry made hereon by the bidder shall be considered firm and notsubject to change or withdrawal.The scope of work shall include all of the following requirements, as listed below to provide for acomplete HVAC water treatment program for all hydronic systems located at all GASTONCOLLEGE locations as provided. This includes all necessary chemicals to minimize scale,corrosion, and biological deposits. In addition, all testing, analysis, lab work, documentation, etc.shall be inclusive in this scope of work.Existing Equipment:GASTON COLLEGE has an existing set of proprietary Solids Technology water treatment systemsinstalled by current contractor. Maintenance of the existing water treatment systems or a newliquid/solids technology system if selected shall be made part of this service contract, includingspare parts and routine maintenance, as per OEM recommendations.New Program System Equipment Provided by Contractor:If a new Solids Technology Program is selected, contractor shall provide all new equipmentrequired for the new program. If a Liquids Technology Program is selected new equipmentrequired for the new program. If liquid Chemical Containment Systems are selected - as part of thiscontract, water program contractor shall provide and install integral secondary chemicalcontainment systems with at all boiler and cooling tower locations. These containment systemsshall remain the property of Contractor at the termination of contract agreement. Chemical drumswill not be allowed on site. GASTON COLLEGE shall have no responsibility in the refilling and/orreplacing of chemical containers. The replenishing of containment systems shall be accomplishedthrough delivery to site and off loaded by contractor personnel into containment systems. Nochemical inventory will be allowed on site, other than in proper containment systems. Contractorshall provide to GASTON COLLEGE a copy of the contractors Written Hazard CommunicationProgram, detailing compliance with OSHA Regulation 29 CFR and a copy of the chemical deliveryprocess. Contractor shall place all chemical containers and building entries in accordance with allapplicable hazardous material regulations including OSHA, NFPA, and NC HazCom requirements
