The Human Resource, Payroll and Benefits project is an enterprise-wide software and hardwareimplementation, utilized by all County Departments and within all Nassau County Facilities. This newsoftware will replace NUHRS with a new HR/Payroll/Benefits system and will automate the currentmanual time and labor entry process. This system will record daily attendance and leave requeststhrough data collection devices. The system routes approved time data to the County's PayrollDepartment, which calculates and produces paychecks and will provide time, attendance, and leaveinformation online and in hard copy reports.The County will work with a systems integrator to conduct a detailed needs analysis of the County'scurrent HR, payroll and benefit administration process. The County will develop requirementsdefinition as they relate to how the County needs to implement a new Payroll and HR system andobtain the services of a systems integrator to implement the new application.
