Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall provide all goods or services and deliverables as required, described, anddetailed below and shall meet all service and delivery timelines as specified by this Contract.A.2. Home Studies-The Contractor shall conduct Home Studies on potential Tennessee Departmentof Childrens Services (DCS) Foster families that have completed Parents As Tender Healers(PATH) training by their agency, including Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children(ICPC) and Kinship, and Foster Families on behalf of the state. As such, the studies are to beconducted by the Contractor in accordance with the Tennessee Department of Children'sServices (TN) (DCS) Policy 16.20 and TN DCS Policy 16.4 on a modified/more expedited timeschedule as outlined in the contract: http://www.tn.gov/dcs/topic/policies-procedures For thepurpose of this contract a Home Study is defined as:a. Prospective Traditional Foster Parent Home Study: A study on a Tennessee family withoutany children placed in the home at the time of referral. The study is to be conducted inaccordance with the TN DCS Policy 16.4 on a modified/more expedient time schedule. Thestudy shall meet all required standards for approval by the State as a DCS Foster Home.Once required standards are met, the Foster Home is eligible for entry by the State into theTennessee Family and Child Tracking System (TFACTS) and certified to meet Title IV-E ofthe Social Security Act standards for reimbursement.b. Kin/Relative Home Study: A study for a family with children placed in the home and isapproved as an expedited placement in accordance with DCS Policy 16.20.c. ICPC Home Study: A study conducted on a relative or foster/adoptive Tennessee applicantby the Contractor on behalf of the State for children who are under the jurisdiction of anotherICPC party state and who are subject to compliance with the identified citations in the PublicLaw 109-239, and Tennessee Code Annotated 37-4-201 Article I (a-d) and Article III (a) and(d); and for whom Title IV-E of the Social Security Act certification is required.
