SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, transportation, tools-of-the-trade including specialized diagnostic testing equipment, lifts, cranes, scaffolding, and materials as required to provide repair, modification, replacement, and installation of Glass, Windows, Storefront, & Glazing Systems services in County-owned and leased facilities on an as-needed basis. All charges for materials and equipment shall b e a t t h e C o n t r a c t o r s direct cost and reimbursed by the County upon receipt of a detailed invoice (see Payment for Contract Services paragraph below). No mark ups are allowed. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform repair, replacement and installation of glass for Arlington County buildings. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordination of the work with the appropriate County Project Officer. The Contractor shall visit the premises and thoroughly familiarize themselves with all details of the work and working conditions, verify all dimensions in the field, and advise the County Project Officer of any discrepancies before performing any work or ordering any materials. The Contractor shall perform work in a manner which will minimize disruption to normal building operations. Upon request the Contractor shall provide any and all of the below listed services and material after receiving a work order from the County. Repairs and installation of the below described materials shall also be requested for buildings as high as 14 stories. i. GLASS Provide all personnel, equipment and materials to timely repair or replace glass. Replacement and installation of glass may include entrance/exit glass doors, fixed glazed panels, fixed or sliding glazed units, fixed or moveable window units, spandrels, mirrors, and blast resistant glass. Glass hardware shall be as requested by the County or match pre-existing. Services shall include caulking of window or door glass. The newly installed products shall not compromise the visual acuity, comfort and/or security
