The selected Proposer and EWEB will negotiate the final description of work tasks and Deliverables, within the scope of what is advertised here, for inclusion in the contract. 6.2 ACTIVITIES The work defined in this RFP is part of an overall project to upgrade EWEBs GIS infrastructure. Required Activities: Task 1 Migration PlanningIt is expected that the Contractor will work with EWEB to review and analyze the existing Oracle Geodatabase and provide a detailed project plan outlining the process to move the database to SQL Server. This includes the migration of the three hundred versions being managed by the current Geodatabase. The vendor will also review and provide recommendations related to the to-be system architecture. The following items will be expected of the Contractor for this task: a. Review and analyze the existing Oracle Geodatabase and provide a report outlining the feasibility and potential issues to accomplish a migration to SQL Server. b. Develop and submit a plan outlining the process to migrate the existing database from Oracle to SQL Server. This plan should include, but not limited to the following deliverables: A plan outline the process to evaluate, convert, and implement the database to the new environment. A timeline in relation to the overall project schedule. A plan that includes user acceptance, security, and load testing. Task 2 Development Test Deployment Upon approval of the database migration plan, the contractor will implement the migration plan and deploy an instance of the database into a test (QUA) environment. The contractor will provide and assist EWEB staff with the testing and quality assurance of the test database
