Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, supplies, equipment andtransportation necessary to:A. Perform quarterly and annual generator inspections and preventative maintenance. Inspections andpreventative maintenance services shall be provided on a scheduled basis and billed at a lump sum perunit. Initial services shall commence no later than thirty (30) days after award of contract and becompleted within forty-five (45) days thereafter. Elapsed time between inspections and preventativemaintenance shall not exceed 3 months. All filters, oil, fluids, hoses, and any and all parts must beapproved by the individual generator manufacturer.1. Quarterly service inspections shall include:a. Schedule visits with appropriate County representative in advance identified in Attachment A.b. Start engine and run until it reaches operating temperatures.c. Engine Lubricating Oil system (additional oils not included).i. Check engine oil and fill as needed.ii. Check hydraulic governor oil level and fill as needed.iii. Check crankcase breather system, and visually check for engine blow-by.iv. Check oil pressure gauge, confirm adequate oil pressure.v. Visually inspect engine for oil leaks, such as filter, valve cover gaskets, tubes, connectionsand seals, and surrounding Take an engine oil sample and provide lab analysis at later date.d. Engine Cooling System (additional fluids not included).i. Check coolant level and fill as needed.ii. Check condition of radiator cap, seal and condition of radiator, (inside and outside).iii. Check condition of coolant hoses, clamps, tubes and connectors.iv. Check condition of fan belts and pulleys and adjust if necessary.v. Check condition of water pump, bearings and Confirm proper operating temperature.vii. Check engine coolant heater.viii. Check louvers.
