Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Board is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide General Repair (including parts for therepairs) and Preventative Maintenance Services for Kitchen and culinary lab equipment for ChicagoPublic Schools (CPS) school buildings and properties.Nutrition Support Services serves approximately 530 Chicago Public Schools and Charter Schools andThe Office of College and Career Success has approximately 19 CPS Schools Culinary Labs. Theschools have been divided into 5 geographical zones. Repairs and Preventative Maintenance Servicesmay be required in the dining facilities, kitchen facilities and school culinary labs. The Board reservesthe right to add or remove sites and/or services throughout the term of the contract.This RFP is structured in two (2) sections: (1) General Repairs and (2) Preventative Maintenance.Proposer can submit a response to both the Repair section and Preventative Maintenance section ofthe RFP, however, Proposer will not be awarded both sections in the same zone. The schools aredivided into five (5) geographical zones. On the cost proposal for General Repairs, please indicatewhich zones you are proposing to service. Proposer can select multiple zones. Proposer can alsorespond to the Preventative Maintenance section of the RFP and select the zones that you propose toservice. While it is not mandatory for proposers to service all zones for Preventative Maintenance, it isthe Boards preference to have one Proposer perform PM for all zones. Please note Proposer will notbe awarded to both repairs and preventative maintenance for the same zone.DETAIL OF SERVICES: This RFP shall cover General Repair and Preventative MaintenanceServices of all CPS Kitchen and Culinary Lab equipment, warehouse equipment and wholesale parts stockservices.i. The Kitchen and Culinary Lab equipment is divided into six (6) categories as follows:Category 1: Oven and Holding EquipmentCategory 2: Meal Preparation EquipmentCategory 3: Refrigeration EquipmentCategory 4: Dishwashers and PeripheralsCategory 5: Sinks and Counters EquipmentCategory 6: Safe Repairs
