Specifications include, but are not limited to: General Overview This RFP solicits qualified firms to provide an array of general liability claims adjusting and administration services to the City. Respondents to this RFP must demonstrate an understanding of the professional services required, the capacity to deliver these services, and the ability to tailor services to address specific issues and situations. BackgroundThe City of Elk Grove was incorporated on July 1, 2000 and has a population of about 163,000. The City is a general law city and has approximately 318 employees. This includes 5 elected officials, 3 appointed officials, approximately 180 administrative and support personnel, and approximately 130 sworn peace officers. The City provides police, code enforcement and animal control services staffed by City employees. The City does not provide fire protection services, jail services, or water distribution and treatment services.
