Specifications include, but are not limited to:Projects may include building or facility restoration, remodel, reconfiguration, new work,demolition, temporary installations, mitigation of hazards and maintenance related work.Subcontractors may be used for specialty work. This contract does not include work for asbestoscontaining materials (ACM). Recycling of waste from the projects and use of recycled products isencouraged.The contract will be awarded for an estimated amount not to exceed $300,000.00, which includesWashington State Sales Tax.The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary toperform the work as requested by the Port of Seattle via a Work Authorization. All Contractorlabor shall be provided as defined by the labor classifications per the Schedule of Unit Prices.The contract will last one (1) year, 365 calendar days, from the official contract award date, whichis the date the Port of Seattle signs the Agreement, or until the contract amount is depleted,whichever comes first. This contract contains an option to extend the contract time up to 12months beyond the original contract completion date.Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in thefull amount of the contract sum.No bid bond is required.An Airport Security bond will be required with the Contract.The work locations for this port-wide contract may include Seattle-Tacoma International Airportand Seaport properties. Labor and Industries require a Statement of Intent to Pay PrevailingWages and Affidavit of Wages Paid for each specific location. The expense of such is theresponsibility of the Contractor. If the Port exercises its option to extend the contract anadditional year, then new Intents and Affidavits will be required for the additional contract year atthe prevailing wage rates published at that time. The contract rates will be amended to reflect thechanges in prevailing wage, if any.
