Specifications include, but are not limited to:The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores seeks proposals for basic audio/visual (A/V) equipment recommendations, equipment installation and removal, as well as cabling and technical repairs. 5.1 OBJECTIVES To provide basic audio/visual (A/V) equipment recommendations, equipment installation and removal, as well as cabling and technical repairs for The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. The Contractor shall supply all materials and tools. 5.2 TASKS The Contractor shall: 1. Possess Master Elite Dealer and Control URC company statuses. 2. Provide Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) certified technicians and installers. 3. Work closely with the Aquariums Exhibits Curator and Media Technician to provide basic audio/visual (A/V) equipment recommendations, equipment installation and removal, as well as cabling, and technical repairs. 4. Install, relocate or repair A/V equipment and the necessary accessories within animal exhibits. This may include working on extension ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet. 5. Provide A/V cabling, mounting and the necessary accessories. 6. Provide advice on energy conservation and environmentally responsible AV equipment choices. 7. Work with multiple monitors all projecting daily program for visitors. The work includes running cable, maintaining quality projection over distances, cabling configurations and system troubleshooting. 8. Create internal and local networks for commercial and government audio and video projects and have experience setting up and programming automation and system controls for A/V systems.
