Said monitoris not authorized by the state to make any commitments or make any changes which willaffect the price, terms or conditions of this agreement without a formal contract amendment.III.SPECIFICATIONS:A. The contractor will employ the following geese control method:1.The contractor shall provide services to the CSDF campus twice a day, Mondaythrough Friday, excluding State Holidays.2.The contractor will bring two or three dogs to the CSDF campus twice a day. Thedogs will chase and stalk the geese in order to move them off the CSDF campus. This type of bird control, referred to as hazing or harassment, does not harm geesebut it does unsettle them, forcing them elsewhere. Repetitive canine patrols instill apredator fear in geese and convince them to find safer places to forage.3.The contractor will also use a specially designed hand held green laser. High-intensity bright green lasers are very effective for geese control in the lateafternoons. Lasers work well because most of the bird's vision is in the UV lightfrequency range (which humans can't see), and geese feathers reflect a lot of UVlight. When the laser beam hits their feathers it creates an "Explosion" of light. Thislaser method will scare the geese without hurting them.
