Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: FOR SHERIFF AND CORRECTION OFFICER UNIFORMSThe contractor shall be responsible for proper fit of all items. Bidder must be located withinthirty-five (35) mile radius of the Atlantic County Office to be serviced by this contract foremployees to travel to bidder for measurement. If the bidder is outside the thirty-five (35) mileradius, they must be able to accommodate fittings as required by employees at the UsingDepartments locationAtlantic County shall be the sole judge as to proper fit of uniforms, and all alterations requiredshall be made without charge to the County. Any misfits or alterations that cannot be adjustedto the satisfaction of the County, after two attempts by the contractor, shall result in therejection of the clothing, and the contractor shall be required to furnish new garments.Alterations must be completed within forty eight (48) hours. Any garments not properly alteredwithin this time may be taken to an independent tailor for modification and the costs incurreddeducted from the cost of the garment.
