Specifications include, but are not limited to: DART is implementing CCTV monitoring on its existing Car Fleet 54. An LRV is a fixedconfiguration of three cars; refer to the reference drawing for more information. Car Fleet 54represents a subset of 48 Vehicles prewired for a coax camera system. It is DARTs desireto install 360 and 180 lens digital cameras for system that will consist of a maximum of 9onboard cameras within each vehicle. The existing coaxial cables will remain in place andCat 6 cables will be used for Camera Network. The camera system shall be compatible withDARTs current video management system, CISCO Video Surveillance Operations Manager(VSOM v 7.x). These camera video streams shall be fed to an onboard network videorecorder(s) (NVR) for local storage. The vehicles Camera Network shall be remotelyaccessible via selected Wi-Fi access points and 4G LTE carrier networks as described herein.The vehicles Camera Network shall automatically detect Wi-Fi access points and connect to theDART Police network. The vehicle shall transmit requested video images to the DART Policevideo archive. The CCTV system equipment and software shall have a design life of fifteen(15) years.
