Specifications include, but are not limited to:Project includes the replacement and upgrades to the fuel and wash lanes.The three existing fuel lanes will be modified to remove existing fueling and bus servicingequipment, remove the raised concrete islands, remove large grated areas under fueling locationsand replaced with new narrow trench drains, sloped to drain but flat (no raised curb island)fueling bays, and new fueling and transit bus service and lubrication equipment. The existing buswashing system will be replaced and upgraded. The existing bus washing system, controls, andreclaim will be replaced and upgraded with new bus washers and include replacement of in-slabwater reclaim trenches with new in-slab water reclaim sumps tied to new wash water reclaimequipment. The existing reclaim system will be replaced. The existing reverse osmosis (RO) spotfree rinse system and water softener will remain and be utilized by the new wash equipment.Additional improvements include relocation and construction of new detail lanes including onelane that can be isolated by suspended curtains to prevent migration of overspray of bus cleaningchemicals into the adjacent areas. Additionally, the project includes replacement of an existingrusted steel stair, landing and support columns with a new replacement painted steel stair, landingand columns to match the existing stair, enclosing the steel stair to isolate the stair andsurrounding areas from bus wash ,water overspray, construction of a new connecting hallwaybetween the main IPTC maintenance bay area to the new metal stair, a new centralized vacuumsystem for use at the bus fueling and detail lanes, and replacement and upgrades to the adjacentin-slab trench drains. Contractor will also be responsible for developing a work plan andcoordinating the work plan with IndyGo so facility operations are not disrupted
