Specifications include, but are not limited to:(1) Hot meal unit packaging will be suitable for maintaining meals in accordance with local health standards.Container and overlay should have an airtight closure, be of nontoxic material, and be capable of withstandingtemperatures of 4000F (2040C) or higher.(2) Cold meal unit or unnecessary-to-heat container and overlay to be plastic or paper and nontoxic.(3) Cartons - each carton will be labeled. Labels to include:(a) Processor's name and address (plant);(b) Item identity, meal type;(c) Date of production;(d) Quantity of individual units per carton.(4) Meals will be delivered or prepared for pick up with the following nonfood items: condiments, straws for milk,napkins, single service ware, etc.
