Specifications include, but are not limited to:Conduct asphalt surface repairs by applying crack sealing material and Type /I slurry seal to116,760 square feet of road and parking spurs at Millerton Lake State Recreation Area,Madera side.Slurry seal and restriping of Fort Miller Camp Loop Road and parking spurs: The projectincludes conducting asphalt surface crack repairs, applying crack sealer, cleaning the roadsurface, apptying Type /I slurry seal using Table Mountain Black aggregate, and repainting theroad markings upon completion of the project.18 dig out areas of repairs will be saw cut, existing asphalt removed, aggrega te basecompacted into the repair areas, then new asphalt installed ensuring the repair is level withexisting road.Record and provide photographic documentation of proje ct before, during, and after installationof slurry seal.Slurry shall be paid for at the contract price per extra-long ton or as shown on the bid proposal.An extra-long ton of slurry seal is made up of 2000 pounds of aggregate plus polymer modifiedasphaltic emulsion, filler, accelerator or retardant and water. When payment is to be made onan extra-long ton basis, the quantity wilt be determined by the tonnage of dry aggregate usedin the slurry.
