Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: FLOOR SHALL BE BURNISHED TO HIGH LUSTER TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS AFTER DRYING. ALL OLD WAX AND WAX BUILD-UP SHALL BE REMOVED USING BLACK STRIPPING PADS. CORNERS, COVES AND EDGES SHALL BE FREE OF ANY BUILD-UP BEFORE ANY APPLICATION OF REFINISHING MATERIAL. FLOORS SHALL BE RINSED NO LESS THAN TWO TIMES PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION OF TWO COATS OF SEALER. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL APPLY FOUR COATS OF THE APPROPRIATE FINISH, ALLOWING EACH COAT TO COMPLETELY DRY. WHEN APPLYING THE FLOOR FINISH, FOUR THIN COATS OF FINISH SHALL BE APPLIED WORKING FROM THE EDGE OF THE FLOOR TO THE CENTER OF THE FLOOR. WHEN DRY, THE FLOORS SHALL HAVE NO STREAKS, AND SHALL HAVE A CLEAN, POLISHED FINISH. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE JOHNSON PLAZA FLOOR FINISH, OR AN APPROVED EQUAL.
