Specifications include, but are not limited to: Building demolition scope includes the complete abatement, demolition and removal of an existing approximately 4,065 sf fire station. Site demolition includes decommissioning and removal of an existing UST and potential petroleum impacted soil abatement, chain link fences, concrete and asphalt paving, fire hydrant, removal of all ROW improvements except a significant tree, SDOT signage, and utilities. Construction of a new approximately 10,030 sf new fire station for the City of Seattle. Site work includes concrete front and rear aprons, permeable pavers, rainwater cisterns, storm water flow control, structuralover excavation and backfill, ROW improvements including new curbs, sidewalks, streettrees, and signalization. Landscape includes irrigation systems and site and ROWplantings. The project also includes an exterior deck with pedestal pavers, a bioretentionplanter, custom steel and wood stairs and guardrails, hydraulic elevator, a hose tower,and photovoltaic panels. Complete structural systems including castinplace retainingwalls, slabs on grade, knee walls, shear walls, and enclosure walls. Structural steelframing including braced frames and AESS members, metal deck with composite slab andmetal roof deck including acoustic profiles. Masonry includes concrete with brick veneerand stud walls with brick veneer. Complete mechanical systems, including VRFheating/cooling system, rainwater reclamation system, vehicle exhaust system, generatorfuel tank and fill and all associated controls. All nonpotable water used (Irrigation pump,hoses and toilets) supplied by rainwater cisterns. Delegated design fire sprinkler systemincluding both wet and dry systems. Delegated design metal stairs and hand/guardrails,and Fall Arrest and Fall Restraint System. Complete electrical systems including backuppower generator system, pathways for data, communications and PV, complete accesscontrol systems, complete station alerting systems with new midblock signalization on E.Roanoke Street.
