In general, the inventory software should be able to perform the following: Track the receipt and distribution of various equipment and supplies Maintain and update records, i.e., expiration dates Shall have a reporting system Provide notification of reordering thresholds Shall convert existing programs currently used by the Department (excel, access, etc.) Successful vendor shall also provide training.
