Specifications include, but are not limited to:Conduct a feasibility study along McGalliard Rd.-SR 332 for the Everbrook Ln. Extension area from Fox Ridge Ln. to Bethel Ave. and from Morrison Rd. to Tillotson Ave., including a Purpose and Need assessment with a variety of options and improvement alternatives. A purpose identifies what improvements should be or could be made to the transportation system in this area to satisfy the identified needs such as reduce crash frequencies, reduce delay and improve the level of service. The study should include a description of overall roadway conditions, current and forecasted future traffic volumes and any proposed improvements within the study area. The study should also include any unusual engineering difficulties or environmental impacts and an assessment of whether the alternatives will result in sufficient road user benefits to warrant the investment in improvements. The consultant will research past studies and will work with the Indiana Department of Transportation as SR 332 is the primary arterial serving the area. If the purpose and need results in an appropriate and desired improvement, the consultant will also prepare preliminary engineering for that improvement as supported by the study.
