Specifications include, but are not limited to:As part of the City of Richlands effort to lower our carbon footprint and our ongoing commitment to the environment the City is looking to do what it can to curb its environmental impacts in the community and provide leadership as an environmental steward throughout the region. Finding out if the Citys fleet can have a smaller carbon footprint and expanded use of alternative fuel in its operations is something the City, City Council and Fleet Maintenance would like to explore. B. The City of Richland invites qualified consultants to submit proposals to provide an assessment of the Citys potential to convert from a fossil fuel based fleet to one that uses more of an environmentally sustainable fuel source. The study is to provide a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility of converting the fleet, the cost associated with that conversion, and how long the conversion would take to implement
