Specifications include, but are not limited to:The objective of this RFQ is to to identify a non-profit partner to provide on-going support, training andtechnical assistance for food pantries and local farmers participating in the farm to food pantry projectwithin the state of Washington. This includes supporting projects and initiatives directed by WSDAFood Assistance Programs.These activities shall include but are not limited to:Activity 1. Develop and submit a comprehensive Work Plan to WSDA within 30 days of the contractstart date that will include: Identification of pilot areas, regional contractors, food pantries, and local farmers Project Description, Process,Time frames and Deliverables Communication and outreach plan Project Process and Objectives Fact Sheet targeted to pilot participantso Model options;pricing optionso Donor matching funds options and resulting food donations.o Role of AmeriCorp vista or alternative equivalento Promotional material release formo Participant criteriao Participant reporting requiremento Highlight linkages to Governors Goal #4 Healthy and Safe CommunitiesIndicator #1.2.A.f, including overall benefit to the emergency food system andagricultural community. Note any improvements made from previous efforts.Activity 2. Develop a Final Report that will include: Detailed information and data from each site for activity completed during the pilot period;report submitted to WSDA by January 31, 2017. (Pricing, donations, evaluation of pilotsuccess) Document donor matching funds and resulting food donations. A focus on program sustainability; developing matching fund options. Identifying and promoting effective best practices, developing strong peer-to-peerrelationships and promoting local collaborations among food programs, other community-basedorganizations and among statewide organizations and agencies. Include how recommendations for improvement from past farm to food pantry programpilots were incorporated. An assessment and recommendations for future purchasing pilots.
