Specifications include, but are not limited to:This project supports BRA activities to monitor of environmental flow conditions in the Brazos Riverbasin. Assessments may be performed at sites on the Upper and Lower Brazos River, Leon River,Navasota River, Little River, Aquilla Creek and any other streams BRA determines to be necessary.Field assessments will include: aquatic and riparian species identification and measurement,sediment sample collection, stream geometry collection, flow curve development on selectedstreams, and the establish survey reference points at each reach. Other tasks will include: dataarchiving, analysis and interpretation of data trends and indications, reporting, meetings with the BRA,and coordinating meetings with external agencies, as needed.Other activities may include but not be limited to development of an Environmental Flow AchievementReport for reaches studied, lake level habitat assessments, and water quality assessments.D. GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICESA detailed scope of services will be developed in conjunction with the negotiation of a costreimbursable contract between the BRA and the selected Firm. The services related to environmentalflow assessment are summarized below in general, non-exclusive terms.1. Work with the BRA to develop a scope of service and not-to-exceed fee for the work of theIndividual/Firm2. Conduct field data collection, in coordination with BRA staff, at BRA specified stream reaches.Instream field data collection is to occur during baseflow conditions and is expected to be evenlydistributed over subsistence flows and dry, average, and wet baseflows. Field data collectionneeds will be determined based on individual reach characteristics and may include but is notlimited to:a. Fish identification and measurementb. Macroinvertebrates - identificationc. Mussels identification and bed mappingd. Instream habitat mapping
