Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will deliver supplies to the facility not less than once per week and on a day of the week selected by the Project Representative. Contractor will deliver supplies to one or more central locations at SDCs choosing. Contractor will label or identify supplies as directed by SDC (e.g. clients name, residence, physician order, date). Contractor will provide stocking and rotating of all enteral supplies as determined by SDC. All formulas/supplements shall have a minimum shelf life of six (6) months upon delivery. Contractor will deliver supplies to the facility not less than once per week and on a day of the week selected by SDC. Contractor will provide management of inventory and delivery whenever a clients Medicare orders are changed. Contractor will provide stocking and rotating of all enteral supplies as determined by SDC. Contractor will provide a list of Medicare B clients and their individual enteral orders and equipment used/supplied to Project Representative on a monthly basis or more frequently, if requested. Contractor will inspect all supplied IV poles and feeding pumps annually with Preventative Maintenance (PM). Contractor will provide Preventative Maintenance (PM) on an annual schedule to supplied Enteral Feeding Pumps, which will be mutually agreed upon by contractor and Project Representative. Contractor will replace pumps, as necessary, with new pumps and provide Central Supply with documentation that this has been done. Contractor will maintain adequate supply of back-up pumps for emergency situations in Central Supply.Contractor will review documentation related to clients receiving enteral products for accuracy, efficiency, and appropriateness of their use.Contractor will meet with the Director of Nutrition Services and Central Supply quarterly or as needed to discuss enteral supplies being provided.Contractor will be responsible for requesting, through SDC Clinical Records Department, copies of all documentation needed from a clients record for billing purposes.
