Specifications include, but are not limited to:NOTE: The Boundary and Topographic Survey, Geotechnical, Concept Design, initial environmental screening, and some utility survey for the Lake Hearn at Peachtree Dunwoody Road Intersection Project have already been completed under a separate contract.The PCIDs will furnish this information to the Consultant. No additional survey is assumed to be needed for the Project. Phase I: Environmental Documentation 1.Conduct all necessary background research, perform field surveys, and produce documentation andcommunication required in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process to achieve an anticipated Categorical Exclusion (CE) for this project. Previously completed environmental screening for the Lake Hearn intersection will be provided by the PCIDs. The community assessment will include an evaluation of socioeconomic factors in the surrounding community along with an Environmental Justice (EJ) evaluation for minority and low-income populations. A hazardous materials database search will be conducted as part of the environmental evaluations. An Assessment of Effects (AOE) will be required for the ecology, history, and archaeology surveys. Prepare the appropriate documentation according to GDOT, FTA and FHWA guidelines, specifically the Section 106 process. 2.Consultant will submit a Draft CE Document and supporting documents (to be listed in the Proposal) forreview and comment to the following Agencies: PCIDs, the City of Sandy Springs, MARTA, City ofBrookhaven, the City of Dunwoody and GDOT.3.The Consultant will conduct a Public Hearing Open House (PHOH) according to the GDOT standardprocedure. The public involvement component of this project will include early coordination with federal,state, and local agencies and other interested parties
