Specifications include, but are not limited to:Determine the full economic and reliability benefits of energy storage specific to GUS.Identify, evaluate and quantify all energy storage applications GUS could participate in.Propose locations on GUS transmission and/or distribution systems.Include current and forecasted operational and planning concerns.Design feasible use case(s) by stacking compatible applications, accounting for all related ERCOT protocols.Develop optimized dispatch model(s) to execute storage applications.Identify and account for regulatory barriers at all levels of government.Construct a detailed implementation timeline.Provide full financial analysis, to include cash flow and sensitivity analysis.Determine the economic benefits to GUS.Compare the costs and benefits of alternative solutions.Perform system sizing based on power and energy requirements, along with warranty considerations.The successful Proposer must be available to present findings at one GUS Board meeting, and up to two City Council meetings.
