Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive sealed proposals for anEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for the School Board of Osceola Countys Districtemployees.2.0 SCOPE OF SERVICESThe selected firm will be required to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services tothe Districts employees on an as-needed-basis. The following is an overview of what is requiredin the Scope of Services. It must be noted that these are the minimum requirements.2.01 Services to be provided by the selected firm shall include, but not be limited to, the following:1. Service, as herein addressed, is for approximately 7,000 full time employees and theirdependents.2. A schedule of orientations for the administrative staff. A minimum of three (3) on-sitemanagement/supervisor training sessions of one (1) hour each is required to be held at aSchool Board location.3. A schedule of employee presentations for School Board employees. A minimum of six (6)on-site employee seminars (topics to be provided by the School District of OsceolaCountys Human Resources & Risk Management Departments) each fiscal school year.4. A schedule of employee web-casts to be provided on a monthly basis. Times for thewebinars need to be convenient to school board employees. Webinars need to berecorded allowing for employees to access the content at their convenience.5. Affiliates, if any, with all Health Care Centers, including hospitals that are to be madeavailable to employees. Extra consideration may be given to those firms sub-contractingto local Health Care Centers.6. Geographical locations where counseling and other services are located or to be locatedin the future within Osceola, Orange and Polk Counties.7. Provide a licensed practitioner to provide up to 15 hours per week of confidentialcounseling services to eligible members of SDOC at The Center for Employee Health (theCenter). The Center is located on Simpson Road in Kissimmee, FL. It is operated undera management contract with Florida Hospital who is responsible for the operations of thefacility. The Center currently provides primary care, urgent care, workers compensationand occupational healthcare, Physical Therapy and limited scope of generic medications.All services are provided free of charge to participants of the SDOC health plan.8. Complete confidentiality of records concerning EAP Participants assessment, referral andcounseling. {Confidential information will only be released with the written consent of theEAP participant or as required by law.}
