THIS PROJECT SHALL INCLUDE FURNISHING ALL LABOR, INCIDENTAL MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF WATER MAINS AND APPURTENANCES TO THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. THE LOCATION OF THE WORK WILL BE AT VARIOUS SITES WITHIN THE SERVICE AREA OF THE GREATER CINCINNATI WATER WORKS. ALL CONTRACTS AWARDED WILL BE OF A STANDBY NATURE AND WILL ONLY BE EXERCISED BY THE CITY IF THE CITY DETERMINES THAT ITS FORCES ARE NOT ABLE TO ADEQUATELY KEEP THE SYSTEM IN ACCEPTABLE REPAIR DURING EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES. THE CITY MAKES NO GUARANTEE OF PERCENTILE PORTION OR PRIORITY OF THE USE OF EACH CONTRACT No additional specifications were given.
