Specifications include, but are not limited to:Mandatory Features5.1.1. The vendor must be capable of providing all needed equipment, software, training andsupport to enable the County to receive credit and debit card payments and/or e-checkpayments at multiple points of service within the County of Nevada.5.1.2. The County expects the service provider to utilize new technologies to include: theability to search, view, and pay online utilizing County-provided data.5.1.3. The vendor is required to provide a seamless mobile device user experience leveragingeither a free app that can be branded by the County or a responsively-designedwebsite compatible with all screen sizes and operating systems.5.1.4. The transaction fee applied should be the same regardless of the amount being paid. Afee difference between credit products and e-checks is acceptable.5.1.5. The system will need the flexibility to add or remove points of service at the Countyssole discretion.5.1.6. Individual departments should have the ability to have differing accounts within thesame system in order to more accurately segregate fees and taxes collected.5.1.7. We recognize that some systems allow for use of existing County computers withaccess to the internet to provide these services. We will consider proposals that usecommon existing office equipment and services (namely PCs, printers and internetconnections) to provide these services as long as the card readers and/or other neededequipment are provided and supported by the service provider.5.1.8. Any equipment installed should have the highest reasonable standard of securityencryption in accordance with industry standards.5.1.9. The system must be configurable to allow payments to be credited to pre-identifiedaccounts within each department. The system will need to provide transaction reportsof adequate detail to allow daily reconciliation of funds received for all relevantaccounts at each point of service.
