Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Economic Development Strategy must include, but is not limited to: coordination with Paulding County, the Cities of Dallas, Hiram and Braswell, Paulding County Economic Development, Paulding Chamber of Commerce and outside community groups designed to gather public input and deliver presentations, analyze data and prepare a document to accompany the Comprehensive Plan Update and should be coordinated with a separately conducted Land Use Study. The Economic Development Study should address the following list of critical components. County Economic Profile: Review and provide a summary background of the economic conditions of the county including a market assessment of retail, office and industrial uses as well as focus on potential for healthcare, filming and tourism. This section should include current data relevant to the economic and workforce statistics of the county. The profile should reviewandprovideclear a n a l y s i s o f t h e c o u n t y s e c o n o m i c c l u s t e r s p a y i n g c l o s e a t t e n t i o n t o t h e factors that support their successful operations. SWOT Analysis: Upon completion of the economic profile the strategy should include an in- depth analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) facing the county
