Specifications include, but are not limited to:The scope of the East Pine Substation project is as follows: 1. Historic Preservation - Evaluating (EPS Eligibility) Evaluation, Nomination and Designation ( if applicable ) to the EPS Assist City Light with SEPA Historic and Cultural Preservation requirements as needed Design in Compliance with the EPSs Landmark Ordinance (if the EPS is designated) 2. Pre-Design Work / Concept Design/ Schematic Design / Design Development : Relocation of North and West Perimeter Wall to the property line and Gate Structure Modifications Meet with City Light groups including; substation, facility, safety, urban forestry, historic, environmental, Seattle Design Commission for the relocation North and West perimeter walls and modification/ addition of gate structure(s), to discuss design preference. Perform survey required to locate property line, develop base map, perform geotechnical and environmental soil investigation / sampling /testing to complete pre-construction /design permit application and to complete design work of East Pine Substation Expansion project. Perform permitting reviews, which includes but not limited to Master Use Permit (MUP), Utility Major Permit (UMP), and Landmark Preservation Board Certificate of Approval Review Process (if EPS is designated). Also, provide assistance as needed to obtain permits from City of Seattle Department of Planning (DPD), Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), Department of Neighborhood (DON), Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT); Landmark Preservation Board, and City Urban Forestry. Perform Architectural, Civil, Structural, Landscaping, Restoration design review for North and West perimeter walls, and security gate modification(s) /addition(s). Complete submittal package as require by Seattle Design Commission and provide responses for its review for approval. Prepare demolition plan of existing walls along North / West perimeters. City Light reserves right to decide to proceed or not with design work after evaluating the conceptual plan and cost estimate
