The Work set forth within this Invitation for Bid includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals and services required for Dykes Road and SW 29 Street Intersection Improvements in the City of Miramar, Florida. The Work may include tree removal, mowing, engineering, surveying, traffic signalization, maintenance of traffic, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, milling and/or removing existing asphalt, pavement marking, and additional items as referenced in the Line Items. Submittals: Vendors solicitation response must be submitted electronically through BidSync. It is the Vendors responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through BidSync by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors should not complete any of the documents included in the BCF 170 or in Attachment A-1; these will be completed and executed after award. Award will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Vendor based on the Total Price. Vendor must bid all items. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises (CBE). Refer to the Office of Economic and Small Business Requirements: CBE Goal Participationsection for information. Pre-bid Conference: Attendance at the pre-bid conference is optional. This informational session presents an opportunity for vendors to clarify any issues regarding the solicitation requirements. The vendor is cautioned that, although the pre-bid conference is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s) to have attended the conference. Time and location are listed above. The list of attendees will be available by clicking on "Transcript" under the pre-bid conference information above. License and Experience Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor, Vendor shall possess one of the specified licenses, and meet the experience/qualificationsas referenced in the Special Instructions to Vendors. Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Price. Refer to the solicitation for additional information for the bid guaranty and payment and performance bonding requirements. Questions and Answers: Vendors shall submit ALL questions through the Question and Answers section available in BidSync. All responses will be addressed in the Questions and Answers section. The County is not obligated to respond to any questions received after the listed deadline or received by means other than BidSync. As the Cone of Silence is in effect for the solicitation, do not contact the Consultant (Atkins) or the Highway Construction and Engineering Division with questionsregarding this solicitation.
