Specifications include, but are not limited to:The work will include, but not be limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials and performing all operations in order to dredge and dispose of sediments deposited during 2012/2013 storm events, as shown in the plans, to provide a safe berth and approach for the RV Sikuliaq. The RV Sikuliaq, owned and operated by UAF Seward Marine Center, cannot safely dock at the facility and dredging must be conducted to reestablish the proper seabed elevation. The project will be completed with funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Approximately 13,900 CY of dredging is required to return the basin to an elevation of -35ft MLLW. The proposed dredging would take place west of the dock and along the south facing sheet pile wall. An offshore dredged materials disposal site is located approximately 2,600 feet south of the Alaska Railroad Dock, with a minimum depth of approximately 230 feet
