Specifications include, but are not limited to:Located in the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Office of Children, Youth and Families, the Domestic Violence Program (DVP) is the sole government entity in Colorado dedicated entirely to funding and sustaining community-based domestic violence programs across the state. DVP oversees approximately $3 million annually in revenue from both Federal and State funding. The majority of this funding is sub-contracted to community-based domestic violence organizations for the delivery of direct services to victims of domestic violence and their children, provision of community education, and management and administration of these organizations. These organizations are the frontline service providers for crisis intervention, advocacy, and residential shelter.
