Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Removal of the existing asbestos containing foam roof system and installation of a new polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) roof system at the Riverside DMV field office.(1). Remove and dispose of the existing asbestos containing built-up roof system andassociated material as per the Asbestos Report.(2). After removal of asbestos, test for levels of asbestos on the roof area and provideasbestos clearance test that shall meet state requirements.(3). Remove the existing foam roof down to the plywood sheathing on the roof deck(4). Inspect, remove and replace all damaged plywood sheathing on the roof deck.(5). Remove existing metal flashing and replace with new metal flashing where indicated.
