Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tires to be accepted under this contract will range from motorcycle to 1020 tires. The Contractor shall be required to provide trailers to transport the used tires. The contractor will be required to provide a box trailer at the Northern Recycling Center, Southern Recycling Center, and the Chestnut Street Garage at the addresses listed under "Site and Inspection." Provided trailers must have safe flooring, devoid of holes, and doors that can be secured. Loading of the trailers shall be accomplished by Ocean County personnel. The contractor shall assume title and ownership of the tires upon receiving same at the County storage facility. The contractor will be fully responsible for transporting, storage and disposal of up to 20,000 used tires.
