Specifications include, but are not limited to:The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is a regional undergraduate campus with several graduate programs in thestatewide University of Wisconsin System, ranking among the top education systems in the nation. Totalundergraduate and graduate headcount enrollment in the Fall Semester of 2015 is 4248. The University currentlyoperates three residence halls with a total occupancy of 818. All residents are required to participate in the diningplan. An additional 567 students and staff have non-voluntary plans.The University isseeking nutritious, high quality, cost effective and innovative solutions to the food service needsof the University and its guests. These services must be provided in a manner that will enhance academic andstudent life programs. The University believes the board program is the backbone of campus dining and it mustmeet the needs of residential students. The retail program must provide options and balance. The Universitybelievesthat there is potential for growth in all segments of the Dining Services program.A comprehensive marketing strategy that integratesthe contractor with the University is vital to the growthof sales on campus. The program should articulate solutions to the needs and concerns of students, faculty,staff and guests.The University is interested in a partnership with a dining service contractor that willoffer innovative ideasfor management of the campus dining program. The University is requesting an array of programs andenhancement of service hours in its existing facility. The University is interested in proposals that reflectinnovative, creative ideasfor product mix and service delivery in a new marketplace concept that can blurthe boundary between resident board dining and retail dining.
