Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Project is being procured to install a pedestrian bridge over SR 21 near theintersection of Rice Mill Road / Market Boulevard at SR 21. The Project shall install apedestrian bridge across SR 21 with a minimum walkway clear width of ten feet (10).The pedestrian bridge shall span all existing lanes of SR 21. Access ramps meetingADA standards shall be installed at both termini of the pedestrian bridge.The Project length is approximately 0.12 miles along SR 21. The project site is locatedapproximately two (2) miles north of the interchange of I-95 and SR 21. Existing SR 21right-of-way (ROW) is approximately two-hundred (200) feet wide. Additional ROW andeasements will be procured by GDOT for the construction of the access ramps.The Design-Build Team will be responsible for the design and construction of theProject during the contract period. As part of such construction work, Design-BuildTeam will be responsible for undertaking and completing certain utility adjustmentspursuant to Section 7.5 of the DB Agreement and the Technical Provisions
