Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:The project consists of the final design of the new facility, suitable for bidding and permitting, and construction of the new building located on the site of the current Criminal Justice Center Complex on James Robertson Parkway in Nashville, Tennessee. The new facility will encompass approximately 300,000 square feet (not including parking space) inclusive of the following components:Housing Unit: Approximately 1,040 beds on 5 levelsMedical Unit, Kitchen and Laundry Facilities, and various DCSO Program ComponentsIntake and Processing FacilitiesAdministrative Space and VisitationParking for approximately 200 cars.In addition to the above new facilities, environmental assessment, abatement design, and phased demolition of certain components of the existing facilities will be included. All work must adhere to the most current publish Design and Construction Criteria and Guidelines and future amendments found at the link below. This project will be required to be LEED Silver Certified at a minimum Space programming, outline specifications, design standards, and preliminary floor plans are complete (see attached Intake and Processing Scope of Work)
